Right after the service today, head to the office classroom to pack brown bags for students at Lake Myrtle Elementary School. (Go, Turtles!) These kids rely on school meals during the week, and our brown bags help keep their bellies full over the weekend.
Each family that RSVPs with the office will receive a gingerbread house kit. We encourage families to bring extra edible decorations and embellishments so you and the kids can add your own creative touch!
The children will present their Christmas program during the worship service. After church we will share cookies/treats - please bring a plate of cookies to share! We'll also make Christmas/holiday cards to give to the residents of Magnolia Manor. There will be two Christmas Eve services. The 6:30 service will be family oriented, and the 8:30 service will be more festival-like.
Thank you to everyone who has volunteered to serve on our congregational council! Refreshments and treats will be served after the service.

Anyone wanting to participate can bring a pot of chili to share. Those not wanting to cook chili are welcome to bring a side (suggestions: salad, tortilla chips, rice, noodles, cheese, cornbread and dessert, etc.) Or, you can just bring yourself! We will vote for our favorite and present the winner with an award!
