We are now in a period of patience and hope as it relates to our Pastoral call. \u00a0We have
completed all that we can do at this time and await the Synod to identify potential
candidates for us to interview.
As we await the good word, let me remind you about the character of All Saints
Lutheran Church:\u00a0
\u201cAll Saints Lutheran Church is one of the most welcoming and family oriented
churches in the community. Our church membership serves with kind hearts and
enthusiasm to serve the Lord is second to none. \u00a0We are passionate about helping
families in need through our food bank and meals on wheels as well as being a
Reconciled in Christ (RIC) congregation, open to all God\u2019s children regardless of their
sexual orientation, race or disabilities. \u00a0We are a hopeful congregation, trusting in the
Lord to continue to guide us and bless us through his generosity; blessings we each use
to serve and witness our calling to GOD.&quot;
We know without a doubt that there is a Pastor worthy of our congregation in as much
as we are worthy of our new Pastor. \u00a0We are strongest together, continuing to do God\u2019s
work within the congregation and our community at large.\u00a0
I\u2019d like to close with two bible passages.
Galatians 5:22-23 – \u201c(22) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance,
kindness, goodness, faithfulness, (23) gentleness and self-control. \u00a0Against such things
there is no law.\u201d
Colossians 3:12-13 – \u201c(12) Therefore, as God\u2019s chosen people, holy and dearly loved,
clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. \u00a0(13)
Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against
someone. \u00a0Forgive as the Lord forgave you.\u201d<\/p>

We have compiled the data from the survey and are putting it in the format required by the synod.  Our goal is to have it submitted during the month of April so that the Office of the Bishop can start their discernment process to determine the best candidates to be placed upon the call list of our congregation.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Today we met with Nicole Eastwood on a zoom meeting and discussed the survey that we have prepared.  She provided some excellent feedback, and we will use that to finish up the survey in the next couple of weeks.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
