Deacon Program Are you being called to serve in the church in ways that are somehow different from the calling of a pastor?  The Florida-Bahamas Synod has a Synod Parish Deacon Program in which lay members are consecrated for a ministry of Word and Service that flows from the pastoral office of Word and Sacrament and is accountable to it.

Deacon classes are led by Pastor Joshua W. Gyson and there is an option to participate in the classes at All Saints for the knowledge without going on to become consecrated as a deacon.  If you are interested in joining one of the classes, please call the church office.

For those who have already been consecrated as Synod Parish Deacons, continuing education classes are held once a month. Generally, these educational opportunities are also open to anyone interested in the topic being discussed.  Check the church calendars for dates and times.
